LadyLeader Generations

Leadership, confidence and active community participation across generations.

What is this project

LadyLeader Generations is an Erasmus+ small-scale partnership in adult education that supports women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Bulgaria, Latvia and Poland.

The project builds on the previous LadyLeader programme, adapts its existing modules for different age groups, adds two new modules focused on social entrepreneurship and community initiatives, and develops a multi-format game for reflection, learning and leadership growth.

Intergenerational learning

The project creates space for younger, mid-career and older women to learn from one another, exchange experience and build mutual understanding across generations.

Leadership development

Through non-formal education, coaching and creative methods, participants strengthen confidence, self-awareness, communication and leadership skills.

Practical tools

LLG develops concrete resources for long-term use: two new modules, adapted programme versions, neurographica models, and a board, floor and digital game that can be used in future learning contexts.

How the experience unfolds

From programme adaptation and coaching to game creation, community initiatives and dissemination.

01

Programme adaptation

The project begins by adapting the existing LadyLeader study programme for different generations and developing two new modules: Basic Skills for Social Entrepreneurship and Organising and Facilitating Social Initiatives.

02

Coaching and testing

In Bulgaria, Latvia and Poland, the programme is tested through coaching sessions that help refine the adapted modules, neurographica models and learning formats through real participant feedback. The project plans at least 15 sessions with a minimum of 75 women across the three countries.

03

Game creation

Insights from the sessions are transformed into the LadyLeader Generations game – a multi-format reflective tool developed in board and digital versions to support leadership learning, self-reflection and intergenerational dialogue.

04

Community action and dissemination

The project continues with follow-up initiatives led by participants in local communities and concludes with dissemination workshops, an international online conference and open sharing of results through digital platforms and partner networks.

Who is it for

LadyLeader Generations brings together women from different generations — young women, women in mid-life transitions and older women — especially those who face barriers to confidence, participation and visibility. It creates accessible learning opportunities for women from rural areas, refugee backgrounds, ethnic minorities and other disadvantaged communities.

The project also offers relevant resources for educators, trainers, NGOs and community professionals working in women’s leadership and inclusion.

Project activities

From kick-off and programme adaptation to sessions, game testing and community action.

Activity 1 - Kick-off meeting

The project begins with a partner meeting in Poland, where the partners align on goals, roles, communication and the overall implementation plan.

Activity 2 - Study programme adaptation

This stage expands the LadyLeader programme through ten learning modules, multilingual adaptations and supporting visual resources. The materials are prepared in English, Bulgarian, Polish and Latvian, with differentiated slide design for younger and older women, as well as neurographica-based video exercises with subtitles.

Activity 3 - Coaching and sessions

Participants engage in guided sessions and testing processes that help refine the programme through real feedback, participation and reflection.
